LABEH established Radio program

LABEH started its first ever radio program with a community radio, Radio Rakambia to broadcast its program titled “Lian Transparancia” which is translated in English as “the voice of transparency”. This is a live weekly program

LABEH initiated the Radio program to provide critical information to a broad cross-section of our society on our Vision and Mission to promote Transparency, Accountability, Good-Governance and Anti-Corruption. The principal objective of LABEH Radio is to increase the Timorese people’s level of knowledge about and effective participation in, the reconstruction and development of our country through providing information on good governance, transparency, accountability and combating corruption including economic justice and civic education.

The Radio program aims to raise greater public awareness about corruption, transparency and accountability. The radio program raised awareness on the important issues of corruption and implementation of transparency as the only foundation for good governance.

It featured local specialist speaking and answering questions about their areas of expertise. It also featured LABEH staff and renowned commentators from different backgrounds interviewing knowledgeable guests, the speakers came from various backgrounds of our society and speak on various topics of public interest.
