Development of LABEH in Timor-Leste, Lalenok Ba Ema Hotu (LABEH) means “the mirror of the people”. LABEH was officially founded on August 25, 2003.
Lalenok Ba Ema Hotu (LABEH) means “the mirror of the people”. LABEH was officially founded on August 25, 2003. LABEH is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization with contact offices in 13 districts of Timor-Leste. It tries to raise awareness on issues of transparency, accountability, good-governance, economic justice and anti-corruption which aims to engage the local people in the fight against corruption and create stronger demand for good governance and accountability and create changes.
Its main objective rests on transparency, integrity and accountability. As national NGO, we will work cooperatively with all individuals and groups, with for-profit and not-for-profit corporations and organizations, and with governments and international bodies committed to the fight against corruption, subject only to the priorities set by our board of advisors.
