LABEH calls on Pires to resign

Executive Director of Lalenok ba Ema Hotu (LABEH) Julio Gil da Silva called on Minister of Finance Emilia Pires to resign from her post for her involvement in abuse of power.

Da Silva insists that she is to resign to contribute to transparency and accountability in the country.

“LABEH is calling on Minister Pires to resign from her post for awarding a public contract to her husband,” said da Silva.

Da Silva also called on the Anti-Corruption Commission (KAK) to send an official letter to the Prime Minister asking for the dismissal of Minister Pires. (LABEH)
